Prevent Cervical Cancer

A Department of Health statistics showed that 12 women in the Philippines die because of cervical cancer everyday.  About 6,000 women are diagnosed with the disease each year and about 4,349 die of the disease annually. Worldwide, cervical cancer ranked 5th of all the cancers affecting women. Cervical cancer occurs when abnormal cells develop and spread in the cervix, the lower part of the uterus.
